Problem I’ve received an error message saying “No Answer”
Possible
Cause
Your modem is not plugged into a phone socket.
Remedy Plug the modem into a telephone socket.
Possible
Cause Your mobile phone has no reception.
Remedy Move to a location with better signal.
Possible
Cause The number you are dialling is incorrect.
Remedy
Check the number you are trying to connect to.
Possible
Cause The host computer that you are calling is not switched on.
Remedy Get someone to switch it on !
Possible
Cause The line is busy.
Remedy Wait and try to transfer again later.
Problem I’ve received an error message saying “Remote Cancel”.
Possible
Cause
The host computer has for some reason cancelled the transfer
of audio. It’s either been a deliberate cancellation by a
user/computer or accidental disconnection, be it user or a
computer fault.
Remedy Try sending the audio again, if you keep on getting the same
message there could be a problem with transmission or with
the host computer.
Possible
Cause Your mobile phone has lost signal.
Remedy Move to a location with better signal and try again.
