Waveform data files - These files are generated for linear files the first time that
the EDIT button is pressed and are used to show the waveform whilst editing. They
have the extension .pk and are stored in the defined Audio Directory, along with the
audio files.
8.4. Displaying information about a cut in
the Properties Mode
The Properties Mode allows you to see in one screen the date and time that a cut
was recorded, it’s size in kbytes and the Record Style with which it was recorded,
i.e. whether it was recorded as a linear or mpeg compressed file, the sample
frequency, the bit-rate (if mpeg) and the recording mode - whether recorded in
mono or stereo. See Section 5.7.3 for more information on Record Styles.
In the Cut-List Mode , highlight the cut whose properties you would like to see.
Press the ENTER button and a scrollable screen is shown :
Use the UP and DOWN arrow keys or the SCRUB-WHEEL to scroll up and down
the screen. When you’ve finished viewing the display, press the ENTER key to
return back to the
Cut-List Mode .
Note : Pressing the MENU button in the Properties Mode allows you to rename
or delete the highlighted cut.
