10.2. Power management
10.2.1. Power saving features
There are a couple of options available on the Courier menu to conserve power
and thereby extend the battery lifetime :
10.2.1.1. Automatic power down
If the machine is not used for a defined period of time, you can configure it so that
it switches itself off. To enable this feature, from the
Cut-List Mode press the
MENU button and select [Setup], [Power] and [Power Off Time] to show :
Select [Never] to never use the automatic power down facility.
Select [x min] to power down after x minutes of inactivity.
Select [Close] to exit this menu without making any alterations.
10.2.1.2. Automatic LCD backlight

The LIGHT button is a toggle button for switching the LCD backlight on and off..
You can configure the Courier to switch off the backlight after a defined period to
conserve battery power. From the
Cut-List Mode press the MENU button and select
[Setup], [Power] and [Light Off Time] to show :
Select [Never] to never use the automatic backlight switch off facility.
Select [x secs/min] to switch off the backlight after x seconds/minutes of inactivity.
Select [Close] to exit this menu without making any alterations.
