9.6. Display options
Display options refer to the settings which affect the way that the Cut-List and
menu appear - the sorting and display type of the Cut-List, whether help screens are
displayed, whether the [Format Disk] command is shown on the main menu, the
type of beeps emitted when a menu selection or a warning are made, adjustment of
the LCD contrast and finally, selection of the language that the menus appear in.
9.6.1. Display of the Cut-List
The appearance of the Cut-List can be altered with two options :
9.6.1.1. Sorting of the Cut-List
The Cut-List is a list of recordings, each of which has a filename, extension name,
duration, file size and time of recording. You can choose to sort the list by any of
these parameters. From the
Cut-List Mode , press the MENU button and select
[Setup], [Display] and [Sort Type] :
[None] displays the cuts in the order that they are stored in the file allocation table
(FAT) of the disk.
[Name] and [Name+Ext] display the files alphabetically.
[Newest] and [Oldest] display the files by date.
[Longest] and [Shortest] display the cuts by duration.
[Biggest] and [Smallest] display the cuts by file size.
[Close] exits the menu without making any changes.
As standard, [Newest] is selected so that the most recent recording is highlighted at
the top of the Cut-List, ready to play, when you have finished recording.
