AUTOMATIC CALIBRATION PROCEDURE:
1)
Verify that the current is on (in the RUN window check for “YES” next to Curr. label,);
2) Enter in the EDIT mode, and then in the Program Parameters menu where you set the
parameters of the desired welding cycle, current "YES '."
3) Enter in the EDIT mode, and then in the Calibration menu;
4) Set the electrode pair on which you plan to do the calibration.
5) Set the parameter for the pair of electrodes to be calibrated "Calib.Electrode" to Yes
6) Set the maximum current of the transformer and its turns ratio for each pair of electrodes,
the turns ratio is only necessary if you use the current transformer CT
7) Set the type of transducer used Rog or CT.
8) Exit the calibration menu
9) Place the key EDIT / RUN in RUN position.
10) Select the program which sets the pair of electrodes to be calibrated
11) Press the start cycle to make welding without a piece between the electrodes.
12) The first cycle of welding of the CS-I will now be a calibration cycle, if successful will not
be displayed errors and acquire the system parameters Alpha, Beta and Gamma to be
used during welding in direct current, in calibration menu next to the parameter
“
Calib. Electrodes X
" will display a "OK"
13) In case of failure the system reports a calibration error and waits for another start cycle.
MANUAL CALIBRATION PROCEDURE:
1) Enter the EDIT mode, and then in the calibration menu.
2) Set the parameter for the pair of electrodes to be calibrated "
Calib. Electrodes x
"
with the desired number.
3) Set the parameters known Alpha, Beta and Gamma detected by the calibration of the
same plant.
4) Set the maximum current of the transformer and its relationship to each pair of electrodes
used
5) Exit the calibration menu
6) Set the program parameters of the welding cycle to be performed.
7) Place the key EDIT / RUN RUN position.
At which point you can use the unit for the pair of electrodes set.
Again, for spot welding is recommended the use of the transducer ring Rogowski
Rog while welding seam-pulsation at least 2-3 rest Cycles must be used for current
transducer CT.
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PARAMETERS OF CALIBRATION
The calibration parameters allow an experienced user to improve the dynamic behavior of
the system. IT STRESSES THAT THIS TYPE OF SETTING AND 'RESTRICTED TO AN
EXPERT USER, AND' TO DO IF YOU DO NOT HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE BEHAVIOR
OF THE SYSTEM.
The first parameter is available to GAIN, which can take values [-100,100] and which is
brought to 0 for each calibration. This parameter acts on the ring increases as a rule
(positive values) or decreasing (negative values) the gain, the effect of this parameter is
limited to ways which make use of the control current (IK, PK, EK, adaptive).
To improve the control, use is made of the graph, and set a current profile of the welding IK
desired current level and without slope. Performing a point, check the quality of pursuit, and
in particular:
