6. Start Ventilation

Rise time of inspiratory pressure.
6.5.13 Ramp
The ramp function is used to raise IPAP and EPAP slowly,
making it easier for the patient to adapt to ventilation.
The ramp time for a rise in ventilation pressure can be
set by the user.
The ramp is enabled in the ventilation menu.
The ramp can be discontinued or restarted at a time.
The ramp function is only available for non-invasive
ventilation of adult and paediatric patients in ventilation
modes CPAP, S/T, and PCV (with IPAP and EPAP setting).
