3.8 Connecting the Power Supply
WARNING
•
To reduce the risk of strangulation, route the
power cord to avoid entanglement.
CAUTION
•
Grounding reliability can only be achieved when
equipment is connected to an appropriate voltage
receptacle marked “hospital only” or “hospital
grade.”
•
Connect the ventilator to an outlet that supplies
AC power between 100 and 240V AC, 50/60 Hz.
Always check the reliability of the AC outlet. If
you are using a 120V outlet, make sure that it is
hospital-grade.
