5.

Loosen four M3 screws fixing the plate at
the location, to which the expansion board
is installed, and remove the circuit board
from the controller.

6.

Remove the protection cap from the
connector located under the removed plate.

7.

Install the expansion board to the location shown in the figure. Insert
the connector on the back of the board into the connector of the
laser marker and tighten the four M3 screws removed earlier into
screw holes in four corners of the board.
Tightening torque: 0.5N•m

• Before the work, always discharge the static electricity by touching the

grounded metal objects, etc. Static electricity can damage electrical

components inside controller.

• Do not touch any other devices on the circuit board.

8.

Connect the cables disconnected earlier to two connectors of
the expansion board.
Connect the cables without looseness. If they are not

connected properly, the expanded functions cannot be used.
