6-1 Link Control with Image Checker
This product can be connected with specific image checker and code reader via Ethernet and control the laser marker
linking with these devices.
The following series of operations related to marking can be controlled from the laser marker when the image checker
linkage function is used.

Position correction → Marking
According to information imported by the image checker's camera, the marking position of the laser marker is changed.

Marking → Image checking (code symbol or character checking)
After the marking by the laser marker, the image checker reads the marked code symbols or characters. The readout data
and marking data are collated by the image checker and the checkup result is output from the laser marker.

Marking → Image checking (image capturing and inspection)
After the marking by the laser marker, the image checker captures the marked image. The captured image is determined by
the image checker and the checkup result is output from the laser marker.

Position correction → Marking → Image checking
The image checking operation before marking (position correction) and after marking (code/character checking or image
capturing) can be combined.

• When you use the link control with an image checker, the following functions are not available.
• “Continuous trigger” of trigger mode
• On-the-fly marking
• TARGET DETECTION IN of the I/O terminal
