MTS - Configuring Cooling Fans
needs to be repeated each time a Site Controller has been replaced.

MTS - How to Configure the Cooling Fans

Make sure you are logged on to the Site Controller.

To get the current fan con
fi
guration, type
psu 1 get fan_config
and press
Enter
.
If applicable, repeat for PSU 2.

To set new fan con
fi
guration, use the
psu # set fan_config
command.
Examples:
psu 1 set fan_config 1 1 1
to de
fi
ne three fans present on PSU 1.
psu 2 set fan_config 0 0 0
to de
fi
ne no fans present on PSU 2.

If a redundant Site Controller is available in the system, repeat
on the second Site
Controller while it is active.
