E-14 SETTING OF COORDINATE SYSTEM
7)
Move the cursor to the setting column of "No. 2 Z" of
the tool geometry offset data using the cursor
control keys.
1.
For the sake of safety, you are
recommended to use the tool offset
numbers in the range 1 to 12 for tools used
in the number 1 (left) spindle, and tool offset
numbers in the range 31 to 42 for tools used
in the number 2 (right) spindle. (S type)
2.
When the tool geometry offset is calculated
with the tool presetter, the tool offset
numbers are automatically assigned from 1
for the tool at station 1 at the number 1 (left)
spindle side, and from 31 for the tool at
station 1 at the number 2 (right) spindle side.
(S type)
8)
Bring the tool close to the workpiece manually while
observing the clearance between the workpiece and
the tool through the window in the front door.
When the DOOR INTERLOCK key-switch is
placed in the
RELEASE
position, axis movement
is possible even if the front door is open. In this
case, rapid traverse is restricted to 5 m/min.
9)
With the manual door type machine, press the
DOOR UNLOCK switch
to unlock the front
door. Then open the front door.
With the automatic door type machine, open the
front door by pressing the AUTOMATIC DOOR
OPEN switch.
10)
Check for possible interference when the spindle is
rotated.
<Example>
