Turret 1 Z-axis Zero Point Adjustment (ZL-253)

If it becomes necessary to adjust the zero point of turret 1 Z-axis due to the occurrence of trouble

or other reasons, the tailstock joint position cannot be established, either. In this case, establish

the tailstock joint position by following the procedure indicated below.

If it becomes necessary to adjust the zero point of turret 1 Z-axis, always establish the

tailstock joint position by following the procedure indicated below. If an axis is moved

before establishing the tailstock joint position, the tailstock might be hit against the

turret causing damage to the machine.

<Adjustment procedure>

Place the DOOR INTERLOCK key-switch in the

NORMAL

position.

Close the front door.

Place the PANEL key-switch in one of the positions

indicated below.

(ON)

(PANEL/EDIT)

Press the HEAD CHANGE switch

(head 1) to

select turret 1.

Display the OPERATION PANEL screen.
