Press the TSUCLP switch.
The tailstock is unclamped and the joint pin extends
from the tailstock so that it is connected to the
saddle 1.
The indicator in the TSCLP switch goes off and the
indicator in the TSUCLP switch is lit.

Select any of the following modes with the MODE
selection switch.
(handle)
(jog)
(rapid traverse)
(zero return)
Once the tailstock is unclamped, the tailstock can
be moved by the saddle 1 in any of the above
modes.

Move the tailstock to the required position by
moving the Z-axis with zero return, rapid traverse,
jog feed, or handle feed operation.
When moving the tailstock to the required
position, its motion direction for positioning should
be only in the negative direction.
If positioning is completed with motion in the
positive direction, it will not be possible to perform
a clamp operation subsequently.
11)
Press the TSCLP switch.
The tailstock is clamped; it is disconnected from the
saddle 1.
The indicator in the TSUCLP switch goes off and the
indicator in the TSCLP switch is lit.
