Chapter 10 : Samples Tab
Samples Setup > Introduction
The second to last tab listed on the navigation bar is ‘Samples’. Tap to open it, revealing a screen that looks somewhat like what
is shown below. In short, this screen displays a summary of all the sample pads, including the sample name and playback length,
pad color, opportunity to edit, etc.
There are a total of 24 samples that may be created and saved: six separate samples in four different banks (A1-A6, B1-B6,
C1-C6 and D1-D6, with Bank A opened below). The six samples displayed below come pre-loaded with DLZ Creator.
These samples may be edited to your heart’s content. However, they will be re-installed if the DLZ Creator is factory reset.
As mentioned above, each bank has its own sub tab. These other banks may be accessed simply by tapping them.
The selected bank will be highlighted green.
Notice also that the headphone levels may still be raised and lowered via the quick control knobs
(located on the hardware to the right of the headphone levels).
As seen in the image above (as well as upcoming images), the bank and bank number resides in the middle
of each sample pad display regardless of the name, color and/or playback mode. These represent each bank
and sample and cannot be changed or removed. Trust us, it’s for the best, as it is for easy identification,
even after you rename it something goofy.
