DLZ CREATOR ADAPTIVE DIGITAL MIXER FOR PODCASTING AND STREAMING, FEATURING MIX AGENT™ TECHNOLOGY

Pressing the AutoMix button again results in a few things. First, the AutoMix Banner disappears and the meters magically
reappear! Also, so long as the AutoMix banner toggle switch is engaged, the AutoMix button will illuminate teal when
engaged to indicate that Automix is currently active. Lastly, a tiny teal “A” is added to the Main L/R Channel ID.
So, when should AutoMix be used? When (and why) should mics be assigned weights? It could be anything from, say,
a podcast, where the host’s mic could be assigned a high weight and guests medium or low. Same thing with a broadcast.
There’s the play-by-play announcer and the color commentator. They would be given higher weights than special guests
in the booth or on the field. Radio stations could use AutoMix for the main host and their guests, as well.
Quick Control Knobs
Located between the main display and the Home, Rec and AutoMix buttons are the quick control knobs.
Quick Control Knobs
These five quick control knobs control context-dependent parameters as viewed on the display to the left of them.
While the knobs are not assignable or user-customizable, pre-assigned parameters may be accessed then edited
via the quick control knobs.
The color of the base of each knob changes depending on what parameter is available at the time.
All of this will make much more sense when we get to the software side of things!
