DLZ CREATOR ADAPTIVE DIGITAL MIXER FOR PODCASTING AND STREAMING, FEATURING MIX AGENT™ TECHNOLOGY

These are the steps in order to get playback from one of the recordings:

• Select the recording you want for playback by tapping it; this can be from either the usb:\ or sd:\ drive.
The chosen file will illuminate green.

• The recording is only selected at this point, but it needs to be loaded, too. Tap the ‘index finger’ icon to load the file.

• The file will immediately start playback, as seen below.

You may recall way, way

, way back in an early chapter that we named the Channel 1 ID “Johnny”. That would

be in tribute to Johnny Ramone, guitarist of seminal punk band, the Ramones. The next three Channel IDs
were named after the remaining members of the classic lineup: Joey, Dee Dee and Tommy. While the band
is no longer – or the band members for that matter – this is a podcast where the group discusses all things Ramones.

• Now we just need to make sure the source and levels are set correctly (if not already). Return to the channel tab
and tap the channel 9/10 channel ID button. Confirm that the channel 9/10 channel source is set to SD/USB.

• Raise the channel 9/10 fader up to unity and make sure the headphone (and/or main L/R output) levels are above –inf.

• Repeat the steps above to play back other recordings!
