Step 1 — Creating snapshots:
Creating snapshots is easy. Simply set gains, pans, DSP (EQ, dynamics, FX, etc.)
for each snapshot that you are going to want to recall at a later time.
As user-friendly as creating snapshots may be with DLZ Creator, if this is your first time creating them,
it might be best to start off simple until you get the hang of it. Go ahead and name some channel inputs
and load up a couple of colors and icons, as well. If feeling brave, set some EQs, gate and compressor
levels, too.
Now return to the snapshots tab by tapping it. It may be mostly barren now, but will fill up soon.
Tapping the disk icon will store the current state of the console – the EQs, gates and compressors, etc.
that you just set – into a new snapshot. Doing this is similar to pressing a “Store” button on other consoles.
Step 2 — Naming snapshots:
You created a snapshot, but how do you know what it represents? By naming it, of course!
Once the disk icon is tapped [save], the keyboard appears awaiting for the snapshot to be named. Name the currently
selected snapshot as you so desire followed by tapping the “Enter” key when satisfied.
Snapshots are limited to 36 characters. This includes letters, numbers and special characters. The text
will remain green until the limit is reached, in which the text will turn red indicating that you have hit the limit.
Once the snapshot(s) have been named, they will be placed in alphanumerical order on the snapshots list.
