1/4" Line Input Jacks (5/6)
The stereo line inputs are designed for 1/4" jacks. They may accept (nearly) any line-level instrument, effects device,
CD player, etc. If you are connecting a mono source, use the left (mono) input, and the mono signals will appear
on both sides of the main mix. Adding the right input separates to stereo. The wiring diagrams are presented
on the previous page.
1/4" L/R Main Output Jacks
The main outputs provide a line-level signal that represents the end of the mixer chain, where the fully mixed stereo signal enters
the real world. Connect these to the left and right inputs of your main power amplifiers or directly into powered speakers.
The main outputs accept 1/4" connectors driven by balanced or unbalanced sources. Wiring diagrams for both connectors are
presented on the previous page.
1/4" Headphone Output Jacks
These 1/4" TRS connectors supply the output to stereo headphones. The volume is controlled via the quick control knobs.
The phones output follows standard conventions:
Tip = Left channel
Ring = Right channel
Sleeve = Ground
1/8" Stereo Line Input Jack (7/8)
This 1/8" stereo input may accept a stereo or mono line-level signal from a smartphone, tablet, MP3 player,
CD player or other signal source.
It is wired as follows, according to standards specified by the AES (Audio Engineering Society):
Stereo 1/8" TRS
Sleeve = Shield (Ground)
Tip = Left Channel
Ring = Right Channel
While the volume may be raised and lowered via DLZ Creator, the volume of the device also needs to be up.
This jack does NOT accept a TRRS connector that sends audio back to the phone or tablet.
