Source Parameters
Now select the stereo source you wish to assign to the matrix source pool and edits its
Nova17/MTx Server
This option sets the method of communication between the console and the remote matrix:

Turn the option
On
if the remote matrix is a Nova17, Nova29 or Matrix Server.
·
Turn the option
Off
if the remote matrix is a Nova73 (for communication via Remote MNOPL).
Matrix Out 1
This option allows the labels from the remote matrix to appear in the fader strip displays and
source's Kpf label.
Enter the
of the remote matrix output which is connected to the source's audio
input.
Class/Pool
This option assigns a source pool to the stereo source.
When using a Nova17, Nova29 or Matrix Server, enter the Pool ID defined in the corresponding
MTX Src Pool element.
When using a Nova73, enter the class configured in the Nova73 map (as described in the
"ext_router_control_en.pdf"
available from the
Download-Center
at
(after
Login
).
Once the configuration has been transferred to the console, you should be able to scroll through the remote
inputs in the source pool using the fader strip rotary encoder.
Note that the
Nova17/MtxServer
and
Matrix Input
fields can be used without a
Class/Pool
if you wish to "hard-
wire" an input from the remote matrix. In this case, the label of the connected input (defined by the
Matrix Out 1
number) appears in the fader strip displays.
