13. Control Surface Configuration
Multi-frame Configuation
For a multi-frame configuration you will need to adjust the CAN bus addresses on the physical modules (using
the special functions mode).
By setting the CAN bus address to match the
configuration, you can define which frames will
control the different sets of fader strips; which frame includes the Central Module (Address 10); and which
frames include monitor mode Central Modules (if applicable).

Control Surface Layers (Fader Mappings)
Each Fader Module supports two layers. This means that the module set to hex address 01 controls fader strips
1 to 4 (Layer 1) and 5 to 8 (Layer 2); the module set to hex address 02 controls fader strips 9-12 and 13-16; and
so on. The diagram below illustrates all the fader strip mappings. A single control surface can support up 60
physical fader strips, each with two layers:
