Powering the Device

POWER CORE has no on/off switch but starts automatically when
is applied:

While the device is booting you will see the boot-up progress on the front panel display and the
STATUS
LED lights in white (steady state).

As soon as boot-up is complete, the display will show the
Welcome
page and the
STATUS
LED begins
to blink at regular intervals; the LED color reflects the
·
The device is now ready for operation - this takes approximately 20 seconds from power on.
If the
STATUS
LED does not start to blink, then the device has an internal problem. Please try a
step.
At the end of boot-up process, POWER CORE loads its warm start data. This is the state of all settings at the
last shut down. It means that when you turn on, you will get back to wherever you were* at the last power off.
* Note that the last known PTP Master/Slave mode may not be reinstated if POWER CORE is set to operate as
PTP Slave only.
Please note
: if you load a new configuration, or perform a firmware update, then POWER CORE will cold
start. A cold start ignores the warm start data, and resets all internal logic states and audio DSP parameters
to the default values stored in the configuration. If this is the first time you have powered the device "out of the
box", then there will be no configuration so see
2.
Once POWER CORE has booted successfully, you can check the current firmware version and other
statuses from the front panel
