DAW Control
You may connect POWER CORE, via a serial to MIDI interface, to DAWs supporting the Mackie-HUI™ protocol.
Although the 'Tree Definition' path is named Protools, these elements may be used for any DAW supporting
the Mackie-HUI™ protocol.

19.5.1 Using ProTools Sources
Up to eight special ProTools™ Sources can be created in order to control channel functions within the DAW from
a fader strip.

Insert a new
Source
in the usual manner, see

Set the source
Type
to
Protools
:

Select the ProTools source to define its parameters:
Source ProTools
Reference name for the source element.
Display
Display name for the source. This is the name which appears in the fader label display
when the source is assigned to the control surface. 6 characters or less is
recommended.
List Enable
Select this checkbox if you wish the source to be added to the source selection list when
assigning sources from the control surface.
