The WDT counter can be cleared by writing "0x5A" with the WDP bit set to "0", then writing 
"0xA5" with the WDP bit set to "1". 

In the window mode, WDT invalid clear reset is generated if the WDT counter is cleared in 
the period during which WDT clear is disabled.

WDP 

This bit is used to read the value of the WDT bit internal pointer. The WDP bit is reset to "0" 
when the system is reset as well as when the WDT counter overflows. It is reversed when 
writing data to the WDTCON register regardless of the data written. 

 
 

[Note] 

Ÿ

 

In the WDT interrupt routine (when the interrupt level (ELEVEL) of the CPU program status word (PSW) 
is "2"), the WDT counter is uncleared.
