9 Operation
9.6 Connecting twine rolls with each other (single knotter)

Connecting twine rolls 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d with each other

Guide the beginning of the twine of twine roll (1a) via the red eye above and through the
twine brake out of the twine box.
„
Tie the start of the twine from twine roll (1b) in a reef knot to the end of the twine from twine
roll (1a).
„ Guide the beginning of the twine from the twine roll (1c) through the red eye above and tie it
in a reef knot to the end of the twine from the twine roll (1b).
„
Tie the start of the twine from twine roll (1d) in a reef knot to the end of the twine from twine
roll (1c).
„
Shorten the ends of all reef knots to x = 15 - 20 mm.
Connecting twine rolls 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d with each other
„ Guide the beginning of the twine of twine roll (2a) via the upper blue eye through the twine
brake out of the twine box.
„ Connect the beginning of the twine of twine roll (2b) with the end of the twine of twine roll
(2a) by a reef knot.
„
Guide the beginning of the twine of twine roll (2c) through the blue eye above and connect it
by a reef knot with the end of the twine of twine roll (2b).
„
Tie the start of the twine from twine roll (2d) in a reef knot to the end of the twine from twine
roll (2c).
„ Shorten the ends of all reef knots to x = 15 - 20 mm.
Connecting twine rolls 3a, 3b, 3c and 3d with each other

Guide the beginning of the twine of the twine roll (3a) via the green eye above through the
twine brake out of the twine box.
„
Tie the start of the twine from twine roll (3b) in a reef knot to the end of the twine from twine
roll (3a).
„ Guide the start of the twine from twine roll (3c) through the green eye above and connect it
to the end of the twine from twine roll (3b) by a reef knot.
„
Tie the start of the twine from twine roll (3d) in a reef knot to the end of the twine from twine
roll (3c).
„
Shorten the ends of all reef knots to x = 15 - 20 mm.
