3. Explanation of the operation devices

(3) Swing lock release switch
The swing lock on this machine is released automatically when you begin swing operation and is reapplied

automatically a few seconds after you return the lever to its neutral position.

If this swing lock system malfunctions and slewing operations can no longer be performed properly, a message

will appear on the monitor display.

If this message appears, switch the "swing lock release switch" to the "RELEASE" position and contact your

authorised KATO dealer.

When the swing lock system is normal, never set the swing lock release switch to the "release"
position. It is dangerous because the swing lock system does not operate on a slope.
