8. Lifting a load

8-1-2 Ensuring safe work

(01EE-0224-0E)

(1) Never attempt to lift more than the maximum load. Strictly obey

the safety signs stuck on the wall in the cab.

The working position brings the risk that the wire rope suspension

ring could come out of the hook, so pay close attention to ensure
that the hook angle does not risk dropping the ring.

When lifting a load with the bucket hook, be careful not to let the sling wire rope etc. contact the
bucket etc.
If the wire rope contacts the bucket when lifting a load, it can lead to wire rope damage resulting
in a major accident.

(2) Determine signals for the lifting operation, designate a signaler

and follow the instructions of that signaler.

(3)

Set the machine level on the ﬁrm ground before you lift a load.

(4) Lifting on sloping ground risks tipping the machine over. Always

ensure the ground is ﬂat before you start lifting a load.
