(13) Exhaust gas hazard
Engine exhaust gases contain toxic substances that may be

harmful to humans. Prolonged breathing of exhaust gases can
be detrimental to health or result in death.

If starting the engine or operating the machine indoors, in a

tunnel, underground, or other enclosed space, extend the
exhaust pipe outdoors or ensure there is adequate air exchange
by opening doors or windows to allow in plenty of exterior air.

1-2-3 Dangerous operations which can damage the machine

(1) Use of traction for digging is forbidden
Do not work by digging the bucket into the ground and

traveling backward as this puts unreasonable loads on the
machine.

If you apply unreasonable loads in the swing direction, you may

damage the machine.

(2) Use of swing force for digging is forbidden
Never use swing force to push projections, embankments,

stones etc. with the side of the bucket.
