Before starting the day's work, make a habit of looking all over the excavator to inspect the exterior.
Start the engine according to the correct procedure then make another exterior inspection to check for leaks of oil or
water.
(1) Inspection of the exterior
1) Dents or damage of covers etc.
2) External damage of devices and equipment
3) Looseness of bolts and nuts
4) Looseness, short circuit, or damage of the wiring

・

If you notice abnormal noise or vibration from any covers etc., stop the engine immediately

and investigate the cause.

・

If you notice a smell of burning, scorching or fuel after starting the engine, stop the engine

immediately and investigate the cause.
