1-4 Attachment mounting and dismounting procedure
(01E0-0391-0E)
・
When you have replaced the hydraulic attachment, you should allow a running-in period of
approximately 10 minutes at engine medium speed with the control levers in their neutral
positions (with no load applied).
・
When mounting or dismounting the attachment, take special care to avoid the entry of dust or
dirt into the hoses and pipe ends.

1-4-1 Changing from the bucket to the hydraulic attachment
(T218621-020-0E)
(1) Rest the bucket on the ground and stop the engine.
(2) Move each control lever forward, backward, left and right two or
three times to relieve residual pressure in the hydraulic circuit
while the starter switch is set to the "ON" position and the safety
lock lever is moved to the "release" position.
(3) Switch the stop valves [A] which are mounted on the pipes of the
arm sides to the "OFF" positions. Check at this stage that the
hydraulic oil temperature has cooled to a safe level.
(4) Remove the plugs from each pipe and hose.
(5) Extract attachment pins A and B and mount the hydraulic
attachment.
(6) Switch the stop valves [A] which are mounted on the pipes of the
arm sides to the "ON" positions.
(7) Start the engine and check that there is no oil leakage or abnormal
vibration before you start work.
1-4-2 Changing from the hydraulic attachment to the bucket
(T218601-022-0E)
(1) Rest the hydraulic attachment on the ground and stop the engine.
(2) Move each control lever forward, backward, left and right two or
three times to relieve residual pressure in the hydraulic circuit
while the starter switch is set to the "ON" position and the safety
lock lever is moved to the "release" position.
(3) Operate the stop valves [A] and [B] into the "OFF" position. At this
point, check that the hydraulic oil temperature has been lowered
enough.
(4) Extract attachment pins A and B and dismount the hydraulic
attachment.
(5) Plug each pipe and hose.
(6) Remount the bucket with reference to the section "Bucket
replacement and reversal procedure".
1-4-3 Preventing dangers, such as attachments tipping over
(T217391-018-0E)
To prevent attachments from falling, tipping, or causing other dangers when mounting or removing attachments, use a
replacement stand that allows holding the attachment in a stable position
