NOTICE
Do not apply paper labels to
discs. The labels may get
caught in the player.
Do not use scratched or
damaged discs.
Keep the loading slot free of
foreign materials, liquids and
debris.
A
disc symbol will appear on the
display whenever a disc is inserted.
The track number also appears
when a new track starts to play.
Use the volume, tone, and speaker
controls just as you do for the
radio. Other controls may have
different functions when the
compact disc source is active.
When playing COs recorded at
home (CD-R), the sound quality
�ay be reduced. There may be
t�cr�ased skipping, difficulty in
ftndtng tracks, and/or difficulty in
loading and ejecting the disc.
If these problems occur, check the
bottom of the CD for damage or
try a known good CD.
If the ignition or the radio is turned
off, the compact disc will stay in
the player. When the ignition and
radio are turned on, the compact
disc will resume play at the point
where it stopped.
If an error message ever appears
on the display, see "Error
Messages" later in this section.
Section 1
Fast Forwarding/Rewinding
Press either
SEEK
arrow for more
than two seconds to move quickly
ahead or back to another part of
the disc.
Release it to return to playing
speed.
Repeating Tracks
Press
c;
(repeat) to listen to a
selection again. The current
selection will continue to repeat.
RPT
will appear on the display.
Press this button again to turn off
repeated play.
