Service and Maintenance
Maintaining the cold tyre pressure
indicated on the tyre information
label leads to better fuel economy,
longer tyre life, a more comfort
able ride and better overall
driveability.
Check your tyres at least once a
month. Don't forget your spare
tyre.

NOTICE
Improper tyre pressure
promotes adverse effects in tyre
life and vehicle performance.
Excessively low inflation causes
deflection of the tyre and tyre
overheating which reduces tyre
strength and thus may damage
the tyres. It also causes tyre
overloading, abnormal wear,
poor driveability, and poor fuel
economy.
Excessively high inflation causes
abnormal tyre wear and poor
ride which promotes vehicle
damage due to impact from
road bumps.
To
check and adjust tyre
pressure:
You cannot tell if your tyres are
properly inflated simply by looking
at them. Radial tyres may look
properly inflated even when they
are under-inflated.
For tyre pressure inspection, the
use of a quaiity pocket tyre
pressure gauge is recommended.
1
. Remove the valve cap from
the tyre va!ve stem.
2.
Press the tyre gauge firmly
onto the valve to get a
pressure measurement.
3.
If the pressure is low, add
air until you reach the
recommended pressure .
