Starting and Operating Instructions

To test the system:

. Get inside the vehicle and

close all the doors.

From inside the vehicle, use

the remote keyless entry
transmitter to lock the doors
and arm the system.

3. Unlock a door with the

manual door lock and open
the door.

The alarm will sound.

To turn the alarm off, press the
unlock .button on the keyless entry
transmitter or start the engine.

If the horn does not work, the horn

fuse may be blown.

If the problem is fuse-related, see
"Fuses and Circuit Breakers" in
Section

for additional

information.

If the alarm still does not sound or

the front turn signals do not flash,
see your dealer for service.

Note:

The power door lock switch will

not work to unlock the vehicle

when the theft deterrent
system is armed .
