Safety Belt Pre-tensioners
Your vehicle is fitted with safety
belt pre-tensioners. Pre-tensioners
help the safety belts reduce a
person's movement in the event of
a moderate to severe frontal, side
or roll-over collision.
The pre-tensioners are located on
the retractor portion of the driver
and front passenger safety belt
assemblies.
Pre-tensioners work only once. If
the pre-tensioners are activated in
a collision, they will need to be
replaced.
Inflatable Restraint System
Your vehicle is fitted with two air
bags that may inflate from the
centre of the steering wheel and
from the passenger side of the
instrument panel during a frontal
collision .
