Seats and Restraints
When the system senses that a
person of adult size is sitting in the
front passenger seat, the front
passenger's frontal air bag will be
reactivated and the "on" indicator
will appear in the passenger air
bag on/off indicator.

After-market equ . ipment, such
as seat covers, can affect the
performance of the passenger
sensing system. Avoid using
after-market equipment if your
vehicle is fitted with this system.

Keep the area under the
passenger seat or between the
passenger seat cushion and
seatback clear of objects to
allow for the proper operation
of the passenger sensing
system.

If the air bag light stays on or
comes on while you are driving,
there may be a problem with
this system.
