Shift Indicator light (Manual

Transmission Only)

This light will show you when to

shift to the next higher gear in
order to maintain better fuel
economy.

Be sure to consider the legal speed

limit, surrounding traffic speeds

and weather conditions when
shifting.

The light may flash when you
accelerate. This is normal.

Ignore this light when you down

shift.

Also ignore this light if your vehicle

has four-wheel drive and the trans
fer case is in four-wheel low.
