If the light stays on, or if it comes
on while you're driving, your
vehicle needs service. Until you get
it fixed, the brakes will still work,
but without the anti-lock feature.
Have it checked right away.

CAUTION
Driving with any brake warning
light on can lead to an accident.
Have the brakes checked
immediately if any brake
warning light stays on.
If the regular brake system
warning light is also on, the
vehicle does not have anti-lock
brakes and there is a problem with
the regular brakes. Pull off the road
and stop carefully.

Malfunction Indicator light
This iight monitors the fuei,
ignition and emission control
systems.
This light should come on as you
start the engine, as a check to
show you it is working properly.
If the light does not come on when
the ignition is turned on, you may
have a problem with a fuse or
bulb. Have it fixed right away so it
will be ready to warn you if there is
a probiem.
If it stays on or comes on while
you are driving, there may be a
problem with this system.
Problems with the system may be
detected before they are apparent.
Have it checked right away.
