Automatic Headlight System
In order for this feature to work
properly, be sure not to cover the
light sensor on the top of the
instrument panel.
Rotate the knob to © to activate
the automatic headlight system.
When activated, this automatic
headlight feature turns your
headlights and other operating
lights on and off by sensing how
dark it is outside.
To idle the vehicle with the
automatic headlight system off,
rotate the knob all the way to @.
If you turn the ignition to ACC,
the headlights will turn off
automatically.
Note: When the headlight switch
is in the 'off' position and the vehi­
cle is started and shifted into gear,
the headlights will illuminate if the
light sensor detects that it is too
dark outside .

Parking lights
Rotate the knob to® to turn on
your parking lights and other
operating lights. The headlights
will not come on.
The lights make it easier for others
to see the front of your vehicle
during the day.
You should turn on the regular
headlight system when you
need it.
Rotate the knob all the way to the
right to@ to turn off all the lights.
Headlight levelling Control
The headlight levelling may be
controlled manually.
Rotate the knob to select one of
four headlight levelling positions.
