Using Group
If you have combinations of channels you use often to create looks, you can
save time by using [Group] to record them at proportional levels. Once it is
recorded, a group can be combined with other channels to create cues, other
groups or effects. Unlike a cue, a group cannot be played back through a fader or
potentiometer
.
Group numbers are independent of cue numbers; however, each group stored is
included in the 400 cue memory limit
. Therefore, the sum of cues and groups
cannot exceed 400
. You can use group numbers from 1 to 999. (You may not
use decimal numbers.)
Creating groups
You can create groups in Stage, Blind and Fader modes
. To create a group,
follow these steps:
1.
Select channels
.
2.
Set desired intensity levels.
3.
Press [Rec].
4.
Press [Group]
.
5.
Enter the group number you want to save.
6.
Press [Enter].
Displaying groups
To view a recorded group, follow these steps:
1.
Press [Stage].
2.
Press [Group], and enter group number.
3.
Use the level control strip to adjust channels in their proportional recorded
levels, or press [Full] to set them at 100 percent of recorded level, or press
[At] and a two-digit number to set them at a percentage of recorded levels.
