SMPTE block edit
Block Edit allows you to select a block of SMPTE events, then manipulate the
block in three ways: Move, Copy or Delete.
Move
Allows you to move the selected block of SMPTE events from one time slot to
another. Follow these steps to move a block of SMPTE events.
1.
Press [Edit SMPTE] to display the SMPTE editing screen.
2.
Enter the time of the first SMPTE event you want to include in the block to
be moved, then press [Thru].
3.
Enter the time of the last SMPTE event you want to include in the block to
be moved, then press [Enter] to select the block.
4.
Enter the SMPTE time to which you want to move the block, or press [+]
or [-] until the desired SMPTE time is displayed, then press [Enter] [Enter]
to move the selected block to the specified location.
Copy
Allows you to copy the selected block in one time slot and insert a copy of it in
another. Follow these steps to copy a block of SMPTE events.
1.
Press [Edit SMPTE] to display the SMPTE editing screen.
2.
Enter the time of the first SMPTE event you want to include in the block to
be copied, then press [Thru].
3.
Enter the time of the last SMPTE event you want to include in the block to
be copied, then press [At] to select the block.
4.
Enter the SMPTE time to which you want to copy the block, or press [+] or
[-] until the desired SMPTE time is displayed, then press [Enter] [Enter] to
copy the selected block in the specified location.
Delete
Allows you to delete the selected block of SMPTE events. Follow these steps to
delete a block of SMPTE events.
1.
Press [Edit SMPTE] to display the SMPTE editing screen.
2.
Enter the time of the first SMPTE event you want to include in the block to
be deleted, then press [Thru].
3.
Enter the time of the last SMPTE event you want to include in the block to
be deleted, then press [At] to select the block.
4.
Press [Del] [Enter] to delete the selected block.
