Expression Show Control System

Learn mode

In Learn mode, you can record SMPTE events in Stage mode. Learn mode
allows you to record a SMPTE event live without concerning yourself with
SMPTE time.

Warning: If you use Learn to assign a cue to fader in which a cue already exists,
the previously recorded cue will be overwritten by the new cue.

Follow these steps to record a SMPTE event in Learn mode:

1.

Press [Stage].

2.

Begin the audio program.

3.

Check the SMPTE time/cue description line to verify that the

PSC is

receiving valid SMPTE data.

4.

Press [Learn].

5.

Select the cue you want to record as a SMPTE event.

6.

At the exact moment in the program that you want the cue to begin, press
[Go] for the fader in which you want the SMPTE event to run.

7.

Repeat this process for each SMPTE event you want to record.

8.

Press [Learn] again to leave Learn mode.
