Editing SMPTE programs
Once you have created a SMPTE program, you can easily make changes. In the
SMPTE edit display, you can use the four arrow keys to move the highlight
around in the display screen. Pressing the left or right arrow key moves the
highlight horizontally. Pressing the up or down arrow moves the highlight verti-
cally. When you reach the right end of a line, pressing the right arrow key moves
to the next line. When you reach the last line, pressing the down arrow adds a
new SMPTE event by adding one frame to the last recorded frame.
Follow these steps to make changes to an existing SMPTE program:
1.
Press [Edit SMPTE], then the down arrow key. The
PSC displays the
SMPTE editing screen and highlights the first recorded SMPTE event.
To move a cue from one SMPTE event to another
Use the arrow keys to highlight the cue you want to change, then use the
keypad to enter the new cue number, and press [Enter].
To move an entire SMPTE event to a new time
Use the arrow keys to highlight the SMPTE time for the event you want to
move, then press [+] or [-] until the new SMPTE time is displayed in the
keypad prompt window, and press [Enter]. Or, use the keypad to enter the
new time, then press [Enter].
Warning: Moving a SMPTE event to a new time deletes any event already
recorded at that time.

press [Delete] or [Clear].

delete and press [Delete]. The message

is displayed, press [Enter] to delete the event or
[Clear] to cancel the operation.
To add a new SMPTE event in an existing SMPTE program
Use the arrow keys to highlight the SMPTE time of the event before which
you want to add a new event. The message XX is displayed, press [Enter]
to delete the event, or [Clear] to cancel the operation.
2.
If you want to change the recorded reset time, press [Reset] and enter the
desired Reset time. This tells the
PSC when to return to the first SMPTE
event and restart the sequence.
3.
When you have finished making changes, select another display mode to
leave SMPTE edit.
