Chapter 6 Printer options and disk management

Recording a show on disk

We recommend that you keep two backup copies of each show on a disk

. Keep

disks in a dry, safe place

When using the record option, any fades being executed are interrupted during
the record operation; fades resume when record is complete.

To record a show

from memory to a disk follow these steps:

Insert a formatted disk in disk drive

Press [Set Up].

Select 1,

Record show on disk

, and press [Enter]

. The PSC displays the

screen illustrated below:

If either show is currently recorded on disk, the screen displays the
message,

Recorded

and the date the show was recorded

. If no show is

recorded on disk, the

PSC displays the message,

Not recorded

Select either show one or two and press [Enter]

. If the show number you

select is already recorded, the new show will overwrite the old show

Or, press [Clear] to cancel the operation.

Note: We recommend that you verify the show immediately after record-
ing it to ensure that it was not recorded with errors. See page

120 for

instructions.
