Saving your show on disk
You should always make at least one back up copy (if not two) of each show you
are working on
. Back up copies are stored on standard 3.5-inch, double-sided,
double-density computer disks
. Each disk can hold two shows.
When you record a show to disk you record all system settings, SMPTE pro-
grams, macros, regions, softpatch, cues, groups, and any other information that
you have in the
PSC at the time you record the show.
To make back up copies of your work requires these steps, (each is included in
this lesson):

Format a standard double-sided, double-density 3.5-inch disk on the
PSC
•
Record show on formatted disk
•
Verify that show was properly recorded
