M R - R ack ’ s display to ve r i f y that Unisyn and the M R - R ack a r e both pointing to the same
ta r get location.
10. Select Send Patch f r om Unisyn ’ s M I D I pull-down menu to t r ansmit the D r um K it Sound
to the M R - R ack.
DrumKit Editor Overview
D r um K it Sounds in the M R - R ack can access up to 64 standa r d Sounds at a single time,
with each o f those Sounds mapped to a single key, called a

( I f you ’ d like, multiple
D r um K eys can access the same Sound ) .
Note:
D r um K its identi f y Sounds by thei r locations in the M R - R ack ’ s memo r y. I f the
Sounds a r e moved, o r r emoved, the D r um K it must be r edi r ected to the Sound ’ s new
location, o r to anothe r Sound.
Each D r um K ey has a suite o f pa r amete r s f o r tailo r ing the Sound it ’ s using to you r needs.
T he Unisyn D r um K it Edito r p r ovides compute r access to the same D r um K it Sound Pa r t
pa r amete r s available f r om the M R - R ack ’ s f r ont panel when a D r um K it Sound is assigned to
the selected Pa r t.
DrumKey Parameters

Edit DrumKey
Selects a D r um K ey within the cu rr ent Pe r f Edit K it f o r editing.
Range:
B1 to D7
DrumKey Bank
Dete r mines the M R - R ack bank in which the Sound assigned to the selected D r um K ey
r esides.
Range:
0 to 127
DrumKey Program
Dete r mines the Sound that the selected D r um K ey will use.
Range:
0 to 127
FX Bus
Dete r mines the F X Bus r outing o f the selected D r um K ey.
Range:
I nse r t, L ite V e r b, M edium V e r b, W et V e r b, D r y
Volume
O ff sets the p r og r ammed volume o f the Sound assigned to the selected D r um K ey.
A d j ustments a r e measu r ed in deciBels.
Range:
-50 to 14
Pan
O ff sets the p r og r ammed ste r eo panning o f the Sound assigned to the selected D r um K ey.
A 0 value uses the Sound ’ s p r og r ammed panning ; negative values shi f t the Sound
le f twa r d ; positive values shi f t it to the r ight.
