Bypassing and Un-Bypassing with the Bypass Parameter
T he E ff ects Bypass pa r amete r p r ovides a one-stop p r ocedu r e that o ff e r s the most
comp r ehensive set o f options f o r bypassing and un-bypassing E ff ects.
To Bypass and Un-Bypass Effects With the Bypass Parameter
T he E ff ects Bypass pa r amete r p r ovides a simple way to bypass and un-bypass any o r all o f
the E ff ects. I ts display looks like this :

T he E ff ects Bypass pa r amete r can be r eached in a f ew di ff e r ent ways, depending on what
you ’ r e doing when you decide to access it :
• I f you ’ r e not cu rr ently wo r king on the E ff ects, p r ess the E ff ects button so that its yellow
L ED lights and then tu r n the Pa r amete r knob until the Bypass display appea r s.
• I f you ’ ve j ust begun to wo r k on the E ff ects — and the E ff ects button ’ s yellow L ED is
lit — but haven ’ t yet hit Ente r to sta r t editing the I nse r t E ff ect, Global Cho r us o r Global
R eve r b pa r amete r s, tu r n the Pa r amete r knob until the above display appea r s.
• I f you ’ r e cu rr ently editing the I nse r t Cont r ol Pa r t — and the E ff ect button ’ s yellow L ED is
lit — tu r n the Pa r amete r knob until the above display appea r s.
• I f you ’ r e cu rr ently editing the I nse r t E ff ect, Global Cho r us o r Global R eve r b pa r amete r s,
p r ess the E ff ect button and then tu r n the Pa r amete r knob until the above display
appea r s.
Once the “ E ff ects : Bypass ” display is showing :
1. T u r n the V alue knob to select which E ff ect o r E ff ects you ’ d like to bypass. T he choices
a r e :
• None — none o f the E ff ects will be bypassed
• Cho r us Only — only the Cho r us will be bypassed
• R eve r b only — only the R eve r b will be bypassed
• Cho r us & R eve r b — the Global Cho r us and Global R eve r b will be bypassed
• I nse r t Only — only the I nse r t E ff ect will be bypassed
• I nse r t & Cho r us — the I nse r t E ff ect and the Global Cho r us will be bypassed
• I nse r t & R eve r b — the I nse r t E ff ect and the Global R eve r b will be bypassed
• A ll E ff ects — all o f the E ff ects will be bypassed
2. T u r n the V alue knob to bypass o r un-bypass any o r all o f the E ff ects as you desi r e.
