12.13 Commissioning Appendix 

Input modes

Mode

Description

Fire

The input will emit a Fire event, putting the system into Fire and likely activating most outputs.

Technical

The input will emit a technical event, that is not an indicator of a fire. Some outputs can be 

programmed to react to this event instead of fires.

FPE

Provides ‘FPE active’ feedback via addressable devices (not intended to drive FPE outputs/equipment)

FRE

The input will emit a FRE event, which will activate any FRE outputs.

Day Mode The input will emit a Day Mode event, which is usually used to switch the system into day mode.

Night Mode The input will emit a Night Mode event, which is usually used to switch the system into night mode.
