Fault relay output
- This port allows you to configure if the physical output is
voltage monitored or not.
•
Connection type
- All ports on the gateway allow you to specify the
connection type. This ensures the panel is aware of the intended use for that port.

This board has connections to be used in future releases.
12.7.5 Programmable IO
This module contains a selection of editable channels, which provide inputs and
outputs directly on the panel. Each channel can be programmed to operate as either
an input or output, with several modes available for each.
•
Channel
- This is either a single input or single output. The following properties
are available: -
•
Input mode
- If the channel is configured as an input, then this option is
available. This configures what type of event is emitted when the input is
activated. Please refer to the Input Modes table in the appendixes.
•
output mode
- If the channel is configured as an output, then this option is
available. This configures the intended behavior of the output.
•
General
- This configures what mode the channel is to operate in, which is
mainly if it is an input or output.
•
latching
- This controls if the input activation latches or not. Disabling this
option will allow the activated Input Mode state to clear, should the input return
to a normal state.
•
thresholds
- These three values are only applicable when the channel is
configured to be a Threshold Input. Please refer to the Programmable IO
module documentation on how these values alter behaviour.
•
Default Programming
- This option is enabled by default on newly installed panels
or modules. By default, this will generate a default matrix entry to ensure any
channels configured as outputs are activated correctly. To modify programming and
enter your own matrix programming, you should disable this option.
•
loop Calculator
– The options provided here allow you to customise the loading
requirements for this module.
Mode
Description
None
This effectively disables the channel.
Digital Input
This defines a channel as an input with thresholds for on and off at half the supply
voltage - i.e. a standard digital input.
Threshold Input
This defines a channel as an analogue input where the threshold voltage for
on/off are provided by the user. Please Note: This feature is not yet fully supported.
Volt-Free Output
This defines a channel as an output based on relay contacts.
The contacts simply short or open the terminals hence volt-free.
