12. Commissioning
12.9.4 ZC Zones
These zones are reserved for future functionality and as yet have no purpose.
12.9.5 ZF Zones
These zones are reserved for future functionality and as yet have no purpose.
12.9.6 Technical Zones
These zones are reserved for future functionality and as yet have no purpose.
12.9.7 FRE Zone
These zones are required by any FRE outputs or inputs.
12.9.8 FPE Zone
These zones are required by any FPE outputs or inputs.
12.9.9 Groups
All other zone/group types are held a single area within the tree view.
This is the less important zone types that are usually optional within the system.
To add a new Group, simply select Groups from the tree view, then click on Add
Group. The popup window will prompt you for what type of group to add. Select the
required type and click OK. The new Group will be created and selected, the property
panel will allow you to configure the name and zone number. Some group types will
have additional properties as noted below.
12.9.10 Collections
This is intended to hold general collections of related items. There is no specific
purpose for collections, other than it is a tool used at the user’s discretion.
12.9.11 Configuration
There will be many devices, inputs or outputs that have the same configuration
(sounder volume, input type…etc). If the user wishes, they can group related
items together into a configuration group. Here, you can override and modify
