11.1.1 Storage of ink and cleaning fluid

The storage life of ink and cleaning fluid is limited . When you store inks
and cleaning fluids, observe the corresponding information on the cartridg-
es. Do not use ink and cleaning fluid beyond the expiration date that is
printed on the cartridges.

Notice

Avoid any damage to print head and ink system from spoiled ink and
cleaning fluid.



Do not use them beyond the expiration date. Using ink and clean-

ing fluid beyond the expiration date can damage the ink system of
the printer and the print heads. Any resulting damage can not be
subject to warranty claims.

Notice



The cartridges for ink and cleaning fluid should be stored in a cool

and dry place.



Protect against all exposure to light

– especially sunlight!



Leave all supplied replacement parts and consumables in their

original packages in order to avoid damage and environmental in-
fluences.



The cartridges and the original package (carton) should be kept

closed.



Do not store near oxidizing agents, acids or alkali.

Ink should be consumed no later than two years after the fill date printed on
the cartridge.

11.1.2 Storage of cleaning agents

All cleaning agents should be stored away from the printer in their desig-
nated places on shelves or in cabinets. It is not permitted to make cloths
and/or containers “handy” by placing them on or especially in the printer.
