correctly, settings and communication cannot be
performed.
To check the driver in Windows XP
1 Click “ スタート ” menu, “ コントロー
ルパネル (Control Panel)”, “ パフォー
マンスとメンテナンス
(Performance
and maintenance)” icon and “ システ
ム (system)” icon.
“ システムのプロパティ (System properties)”
screen is displayed.

Click “ スタート ” menu, select “ 設定
(setting)” and “ コントロールパネル ”.
Then, double-click “ システム ” icon.

Click “ ハードウェア (Hardware)” tab
and click “ デバイスマネージャ

Before uninstalling, make sure that FOMA
terminal is removed from the PC.
Uninstalling the software under
Windows XP

The screen differs under OS other than
Windows XP.
1 Click “ スタート ” menu, “ コントロー
ルパネル ” and “ プログラムの追加と
削除 (Add/delete Programs)” icon.

Click “ スタート ” menu, select “ 設定 ”
and “ コントロールパネル ”. And double-
click the “ アプリケーションの追加と削
除 (Add/delete applications)” icon.
INFORMATION
● Installation may take a few minutes.
● When a screen instruct you to reboot Windows
is displayed, follow the instruction and reboot.
● If the PC and FOMA terminal are connected
before the communication configuration file is
installed, another driver may be automatically
installed. When this happens, performing the
operation in Step 2 displays a message saying
that the installed driver must be uninstalled. In
this case, uninstall the driver following
instruction shown on the display and install the
communication configuration file.
● If PC cannot detect FOMA terminal for some
reason, uninstall and reinstall the
communication configuration file.
